Modem Huawei E169 Install Ubuntu at 9:10
Telkomfalsh I use to access the internet with Huawei E169 modem. At 9:04 ubuntu directly to the detection but at 9:10 ubuntu need some settings to the modem is detected. Below is a way menseting TelkomselFlash Modem Huawei E169
1. Menu -> System -> Preferences -> Conection manager and click mobile broadband
2. click add
3. click Forward
Choose the contry "Indonesia"
4. click Forward
Choose "telkomsel"
5. click Forward
6. click Forward
7. click Apply
Click "connect automaticly" and delete the username and password
8. Click Apply and close the network manager
9. Safe remove virtual drives in the drive by right click and select Telkomflash drive safe remove.
10 open a terminal and run this script
> sudo rmmod usb-storage
> sudo modprobe-r option
> sudo modprobe-r usbserial
> sudo modprobe usbserial vendor = 0x12d1 product = 0x1001
